Vacancy: Business Development Manager

Description:

The primary responsibility is to generate new business in the assigned market. The secondary responsibility is to generate more value per customer through cross-and upselling activities. Candidate is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in assigned market. Communication via in- and outbound calls towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Executes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area. You report directly to the Head of World Wide Sales. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Ensures to meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes.
  • Creates appointments and leads for senior sales staff
  • Maintains contact with all clients inside the market area (and outside, as assigned) to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
  • Independently works to accomplish set sales-targets and profitability for assigned market
  • Responsible as account manager for clients (also outside assigned market) to develop accounts and increase value per customer
  • Prepares and executes action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
  • Provides feedback to senior management regarding performance.
  • Prepares and presents proposals and presentations.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes 
 
Desired profile:
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales.
  • Experience with selling technological software.
  • Excellent knowledge about the hosting market of the assigned market.
  • Ability to connect with people, find decision makers, close deals.
  • Independent working style.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Willingness for occasional travel.

Vacancy: Python Developer

Description:
SpamExperts BV, a key-player in the internet-security industry, is looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active, and skilled Python Developer who loves development challenges and contribute to building Enterprise Class email security solutions. You will work in a small team in Bucharest of highly motivated professionals and are expected to work in a independent and proactive fashion, reporting directly to the CTO.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Development of our server-side Domain product (incoming email filtering, outgoing email filtering, email archiving, spam-intelligence feed, etc)
  • Development of Desktop product (5-10%)
  • Development of open-source projects (5-10%)
  • Bug-fixing
  • Reports to Lead Developer and/or CTO;
  • Extra tasks as deemed necessary by the CTO. 
 
Desired profile:
  • Advanced Python programming (no professional experience required)
  • Basic Linux/Debian experience
  • Proficient use of the English language
 
Beneficial other skills:
  • MySQL skills
  • Familiarity with working in virtual machine environments
  • Degree-level (or higher) knowledge of statistics

Responsibilities:

  •  Writing automated tests (e.g. unit tests, regression tests, functional tests)
  •  Testing web applications
  •  Testing Linux command-line scripts
  •  Testing APIs (HTTP, REST, JSON)

  •  2-5 working years experience as tester

SpamExperts offers an internship in the international IT branch, where you will be included in our small team from day one and we will give you the full opportunity to develop yourself in the fields of Communication and Marketing. You will be researching advertising options with various social media as well as take over the daily communication via the media we use. We are active on Facebook, Linkedin, twitter and tumblr primarily. Moreover you will be assisting in all communication activities like press releases distribution, making adjustments to the website. Also will you be in charge of competitor monitoring and keeping track of news web sites.
