The filterclusters are hosted in the world's most secure datacenters and currently 8 locations worldwide are filtering more than 1 million customer domains with 100% uptime. If you already have added your domains and want to activate the filtering MX-records, please enter the following hostnames in the DNS settings of your domains:
'mx.spamexperts.com.' (priority 10)
'fallbackmx.spamexperts.eu.' (priority 20)
'lastmx.spamexperts.net.' (priority 30).

Adminstration & Settings
Administration and settings adjustment for your filtered domains can be done through the user friendly control panel of SpamExperts. Domain admins will get access to an overview of all domains and can check on each domain what filtering activities are taking place, which messages got temporarily rejected, which ones were permanently blocked and download raw-logs, set up whitelists, blacklists and the like. Individual users can also log in to their own quarantine and log-search if that is activated through the domain-admin. No good mail can ever get lost!

Installation Requirements
There are no installation requirements. All you need to do in order to activate this hosted spam filter is to add your domain to the clusters of SpamExperts and switch its MX-records. The filter is distributed over currently 8 different datacenters in around the globe. If one datacenter would entirely go down, or even the internet in an entire country would temporarily be unavailable, SpamExperts will still easily be able to filter your domains' email and deliver messages without any delays.

Filtering Technologies
SpamExperts combines both public and internal anti-spam data sources to provide optimal filtering. Several different filtering technologies are exclusively developed by SpamExperts. The Domain Spam Filter filters email for spam, viruses and all types of malware. It applies more than 50 different technologies. With central databases fed by more than 1 million filtered domains, clients from over 100 countries and countless SpamExperts Desktop users, the latest spam intelligence will always protect your filters.
The filtering itself takes place in two steps: first, the behavior and reputation of the sending mailserver is analyzed which already leads to a 95% detection rate. If an analyzed messages passes the first stage, the filters will take a digital fingerprint of the content of the message in stage two and compare it with millions of known spam patterns.
